Bartender Job Description
Position Summary:
As a bartender, you must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. A guest’s wine/cocktail or bar experience should be equally enjoyable as their food experience. Organizational skills, consistent quality and service delivery, the ability to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure are essential. Also, being responsive and guest sensitive as well as, possessing a good sense of timing are important.
Major Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Welcome each guest personally within 30 seconds.
2. Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated through your actions.
3. Work as a team with all of the PRP staff in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service.
4. Appearance of bar: area must be clean, stocked and bottles and glasses arranged to maintain an attractive display in agreement with the PRP standards at all times.
5. Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests of bar and dining room following standard recipes.
6. Process drink orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests for drinks served and make change, responsible for handling cash reconciliation and pay out of wait staff gratuities.
7. Knowledge of the full menu of food and beverages.
8. Maintain clean glassware.
9. Anticipate your guest’s needs and offer your assistance before the guest has to ask for it.
10. Maintain count of drinks that guests are served and provide current bar tabs to guests.
11. Responsible service of alcohol.
12. Responsible handling of guest allergy & dietary needs.
13. Other duties as directed.
Essential Physical Requirements:
• Available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays
• Ability to accept coaching
• Walks and stands during entire shift.
• Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.
• Remain stationary for long periods of time.
• Frequent washing of hands.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping, exposure to potential food allergies.
• You must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

Server Job Description
Position Summary:
To represent the Pub with the highest level of service and professionalism while selling and serving a fine Guest experience.
Major Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Greet each guest personally with warm welcome and hello.
2. Provide service to tables within a station, as determined by management.
3. Complete knowledge of the PRP food and beverage preparation, menus, cocktails and wines.
4. Ability to sell and serve alcohol and food items as well as, run food from kitchen to tables.
5. Able to use POS system to process orders and bill.
6. Able to interact with guests in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
7. Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the station, the tables and Pub before, during and at the conclusion of the shift worked.
8. Clear and Clean tables.
9. Check identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. Adhere to the PRP policy regarding guest alcohol service guidelines.
10. All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed our guests’ expectations.
11. Report to work in neat and clean job appropriate clothing. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
12. Other duties as directed.
